Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the Ferris Bueller sequel you’ve all been waiting for!

According to Entertainment Tonight, Ferris Bueller and Succession actor Alan Ruck was driving an electric truck when, for reasons unknown, his car went careening into Raffallo’s Pizza, a local pizza joint.

TMZ reported that the Succession star, 67, was the one behind the vehicle of a Rivian R1T when it rammed another vehicle from behind and pushed it into the intersection,” writes Miguel A. Melendez for Entertainment Tonight. “The crash caused the second vehicle to T-bone another vehicle, while the truck collided with another car before crashing into the pizza place.”

Thankfully, no one was killed in the accident. Two people were injured, though TMZ says that “both were conscious and breathing” and “no pedestrians were struck in the accident.” TMZ also reports that there was no indication of a DUI and that Ruck hung around after the accident, so for all those Ruck-heads out there, there’s no need to panic — your man is doing just fine.

“I asked (Ruck), ‘Are you okay?’ And the first thing out of his mouth was, ‘Is everyone (else) okay? I think I hit someone. Is he okay?’” recalled local restaurant owner Tim Ratcliff in an interview with USA Today. (Earlier today, Ruck reiterated that he was fine and how thankful he was that no one perished in the accident.)

As to why it happened, we can only guess at this point. Maybe his pedal got stuck, or maybe he just had a flashback to his previous car-destroying experience. Regardless, we’re happy everyone seems okay — though don’t expect to get pizza from that restaurant anytime soon.
